Board directors from the Louisiana Housing Corporation put the green light on a $12 million dispersion for the development of new homes Wednesday.
We’re told the multi-million dollar issuance will go towards the development, rehabilitation and acquisition of homeownership and rental housing for working families in urban and small communities throughout the state.
Made available through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) and the National Housing Trust Fund (HTF), this funding is designed for small scale housing developments in areas of demonstrated need.
Eligible applicants can receive up to $4 million to assist with the development of their projects.
