LDH reports 3,295 deaths due to COVID-19, and 76,803 confirmed cases now in Louisiana

ALEXANDRIA, La (WNTZ) – Update as of Saturday, 7/11/2020

The Louisiana Department of Health has confirmed 76,803 COVID-19 cases now in Louisiana, with the death toll at 3,295. There are currently 1,182 patients hospitalized; 121 of those on ventilators.

As of 7/7/2020 there are 46,334 presumed recovered cases in the state.

Cases in Central Louisiana:

Rapides Parish – 1,978 cases, 79 deaths.

Avoyelles Parish – 475 cases, 16 deaths.

Natchitoches Parish – 401 cases, 14 deaths.

Evangeline Parish – 322 cases, 1 death.

Vernon Parish – 263 cases, 9 deaths.

Catahoula Parish – 214 cases, 3 deaths.

Sabine Parish – 194 cases, 1 death.

Concordia Parish – 147 cases, 7 deaths.

Grant Parish – 124 cases, 2 deaths.

La Salle Parish – 120 cases, 0 deaths.
