LDH reports 3,272 deaths due to COVID-19, and 74,636 confirmed cases now in Louisiana

ALEXANDRIA, La (WNTZ) – Update as of Friday, 7/10/2020

The Louisiana Department of Health has confirmed 74,636 COVID-19 cases now in Louisiana, with the death toll at 3,272. There are currently 1,117 patients hospitalized; 122 of those on ventilators.

As of 7/7/2020 there are 46,334 presumed recovered cases in the state.

Cases in Central Louisiana:

Rapides Parish – 1,909 cases, 79 deaths.

Avoyelles Parish – 460 cases, 16 deaths.

Natchitoches Parish – 376 cases, 14 deaths.

Evangeline Parish – 306 cases, 1 death.

Vernon Parish – 247 cases, 9 deaths.

Catahoula Parish – 211 cases, 3 deaths.

Sabine Parish – 181 cases, 1 death.

Concordia Parish – 140 cases, 7 deaths.

Grant Parish – 122 cases, 2 deaths.

La Salle Parish – 116 cases, 0 deaths.
