Over the last two weeks the Louisiana Tech offense has been centered around one guy: Carlos Henderson.
In his last two games Henderson has 20 receptions for 558 yards and 8 touchdowns.
When combined with Trent Taylor’s usual offensive output the two give tech a pretty lethal duo.
Coach Holtz thinks Taylor’s early success is giving Carlos these opportunities.
Skip Holtz said, “Trent was having 13, 14, 16 catches a game while Carlos was out, so what everybody has had on film is everybody rolls on we;ve got to stop number five. So, everybody starts rolling things down to stop number five, and that leaves number one with a lot of one-on-one matchups. The last two weeks he’s really been able to take advantage of it, but he’s a special player with ball under his arm. He’s just got to keep getting better and playing in the system.”
