Hack a big key for NSU Demons in 2016

The Northwestern State Demons are less than a week from starting their fall camp. The first practice will be on Friday.

One of the biggest additions to this year’s team has got to be quarterback Brooks Hack, a senior transfer from Louisiana-Lafayette.

Hack was the primary starter for the Rajun Cajuns a season ago, and looked impressive during spring practices with the Demons.

Jay Thomas said, “With the addition of Hack coming in and played as much as he’s played at the collegiate level. Certainly that comes in and comes in to play. He won a state championship in Texas playing at Katy High School. So, he’s used to playing on large stages. He’s a great kid. His dad’s a coach at Katy High School. So, it’s just been a blessing to have him in the program.”
