NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Ecstatic tears of joy caught on camera after a Taylor Swift fan received a surprise from her favorite pop star.

Lindsay Sizemore was in a serious car crash that has left her hospitalized for the past 10 days, but Tuesday a knock on her hospital door at Vanderbilt has left her smiling.

On Mar. 31, Sizemore was a passenger in a car that hit a pole head-on in Clarksville.

“I broke 11 ribs, my neck, my back, my hand, and my ankle,” she told News 2.

Sizemore’s friends, family, and Taylor Swift have been getting her through the dark days.

“When I’m down and sad I’ll listen to some of her happy music.”

Quotes from Taylor and pictures of the pop star hanging on her hospital room walls.

“I’ve been to 33 Taylor Swift shows in the past like 10 years, I love her,” she explained.

Sizemore has traveled the globe to shows, earning the nickname “Taylor Swift Girl.” She even has three T-Swift tattoos on her arms.

“The heart is from when I met her in 2013. She wrote on her album I heart Lindsay, love Taylor.”

That was the only time the two met, but Tuesday Taylor sent a little cheer to one of her biggest fans, a bouquet of flowers and a handwritten note.

Her reaction was priceless.

“Oh my God I’m so excited, I’m so happy, I love her so much,” she said while sobbing in the video that is going viral.

Sizemore doesn’t believe Taylor really knows who she is but wants the artist to know that her gesture rocked her heart.

“Thank you for the flowers, they are beautiful. They did brighten my day, they brightened my life and they are definitely going to help ease the pain in this recovery because it’s a lot,” she said with tears in her eyes.

Sizemore says she will frame the card with pressed petals from the flowers.

She is expected to make a full recovery and is being released from Vanderbilt to start rehab.
