An investigation into two reported thefts has resulted in the arrest of Michael Holder, age 38, of West Monroe by Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Investigators.

A boat and trailer were reported stolen in July from a West Monroe address and were later located by a Louisiana State Trooper.

The follow up investigation by Sheriff’s Investigators determined Holder was allegedly involved in the theft and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Sheriff’s Investigators were also conducting an investigation into a reported stolen GMC pickup truck from a West Monroe business.

OPSO Uniform Deputies located the stolen truck at a residence determined to belong to Holder.

Holder has been arrested and booked in OCC for Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Stolen Things.

The boat, trailer and the pickup truck have been recovered.
