Vernon Parish arrests two in narcotics case

Sheriff Sam Craft of the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office announces the August 11, 2015 arrests of Henry Devon Dean, age 29 – and Christopher Andrew Dean, age 35, of Leesville.

The arrests are the result of an ongoing investigation into the distribution of illegal narcotics within Vernon Parish.

Agents executed a search warrant at a residence located in the area of Highway 10.

During the course of a search of the property Agents discovered a quantity of ecstasy tablets as well as a quantity of marijuana.

The illegal narcotics were found buried in the ground in two different locations on the property.

Christopher Allen Dean was arrested and charged with one count of Distribution of Schedule II Narcotics (Methamphetamine).  Bond was set at $25,000.00. 

Henry Devon Dean was arrested and charged with three counts of Distribution of Schedule II Narcotics (Methamphetamine).  Bond was set at $75,000.00.

Both remain in the Vernon Parish Jail at the time of this release.

Sheriff Craft and the Vernon Parish Narcotics Task Force will continue to diligently and aggressively pursue the arrests of persons who participate in illegal narcotics activity.
