Suspect in December apartment complex killings arrested

An Alexandria man accused of killing two people at a shooting in an apartment complex on December 27th has been arrested.

21 Tavis Jenkins was taken into custody without incident at an apartment complex this morning in the 2700 block of Ambassador Caffery Pkwy..

Jenkins has been charged with 2 counts of 1st Degree Murder and Attempted 1st Degree Murder.

The victims of shooting have been identified as 23 year old Linton Batiste and 17 year old Antonio Means.

The investigation remains ongoing.
