NPSO releases name of Sabine Bayou drowning victim

Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies have identified the victim of Sunday’s drowning incident on LA Hwy 1226 on Sabine Bayou near Clarence.

The victim has been identified as Harold Worsham, 78, of Natchitoches.

At this time, the Natchitoches Parish Coroner’s Office and NPSO believes the cause of death is drowning.

Two other people in the boat were rescued by Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies, and LA Department of Wildlife and Fisheries agents that were near the area conducting evacuations when the 911 call was made to the NPSO 911 Center.
