Autographs, inflatables for kids, free food and drinks, a chance to meet your favorite players and a chance to see Bulldog Football in action. Saturday afternoon is shaping up to be a fun-filled event for LA Tech fans when the annual Fan Fest event begins at 3 p.m. at the Thomas Assembly Center.
Brennan Dodge will be providing free food while Aramark will be providing free drinks for fans located at the main entrance on the East side of the arena, where fans are encouraged to enter. Inflatables will be located on the arena floor and face painting will be available for kids while parents can purchase their Kids’ Club membership or pick up their Kids’ Club packets, if already purchased.
Fans can get autographs from their favorite Louisiana Tech football, soccer and volleyball student-athletes with posters available to be signed. Anyone wishing to have something other than a poster autographed are reminded that fans are limited to one (1) personal item that may be signed by student-athletes.
“It is always a fun day,” said Louisiana Tech head coach Skip Holtz. “There is a lot of excitement and a lot of energy around this team right now. I can’t think the people in the community and the fan base of Louisiana Tech with the way they have supported and their show of support for this football team. I think it is going to be a great opportunity for anybody that can come out to interact with our players. I think these players are looking forward to an opportunity to not hit each other in the middle of the afternoon and go and have a chance to interact in the air conditioning of the TAC with our fans. It’s always a good time. It kind of really kicks off the season when we have a chance to see the excitement in the fans. It gives the players a boost, just to remind us everything we are doing this for.”
