ALEXANDRIA, La. (WNTZ) – Keller Williams Realty CENLA Partner celebrates RED Day, which stands for Renew, Energize and Donate, is their annual day of service on the second Thursday of May as a part of their legacy worth leaving. Making a difference in the lives of others and bettering the communities that they serve, lies at the heart of the Keller Williams culture. This observance defines who they are and is a natural extension of our commitment to the highest level of professional customer service.
Over time, a growing number of their family members and friends continue to participate in this extraordinary event. It embodies the generous spirit and commitment associates have to “giving back” to the cities and towns they live and work in.
This year the team decided to have a fundraiser for Friendship House. This non-profit organization is the only licensed adult day care center in Central Louisiana. Their mission is to provide a safe and caring day program in a clean, home-like setting where adults find a renewed sense of self-worth through healthcare, socialization, and recreation. They provide supervised programs and activities for adults who require a support system during the daytime hours, but can still live in their own homes or with relatives and friends.
Today the team at Keller Williams Realty CENLA Partners presented Friendship House, Faye Simpson (Executive Director) and Joel Ferrier (President of the Board) with a check in the amount of $10,047 from money raised at their Jambalaya Lunch fundraiser earlier in the month.
