“Borealis- A Holiday Cirque” coming to Paragon December 4, 5 and 6

Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville, La. will present “Borealis- A Holiday Cirque” in the Mári Showroom for three performances, on Friday, Dec. 4, Saturday, Dec. 5 and Sunday, Dec. 6. Showtimes are 8:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with a Sunday matinee at 3:00 p.m. Tickets start at $15.00.

Conceived and directed by Fernando Quevedo of Q Productions Las Vegas, the show follows the story of a young girl who is stranded in an abandoned warehouse during a snowstorm on Christmas. She meets Earl and Cordelia, who show her how magical Christmas can be. “There is nothing like it right now. The hologram system we use is second to none, the music is original and epic in scale, and the performers are at the top of their league,” said creator Quevedo. Part theatrical production, part visual spectacle, and part cirque artistry, the show is a unique tour de force that celebrates the magic of the holidays.

Showcasing an international cast of modern circus arts performers, Borealis – A Holiday Cirque features acts including aerialists, acrobats, jugglers, trapeze artists, gymnasts and more. and new scenes previously impossible to present on an indoor stage. In addition to the astonishing talents of the cast, the show will feature a state-of-the-art lighting design including holograms, lasers and projection mapping for a stunning, visually immersive experience.
