APD needs help identifying suspect

The male pictured above, has chosen to steal money from hard working citizens rather than to earn it. APD is giving you the opportunity to earn yours by helping us identify and arrest the suspect in as many as four robberies over the last week.

If you have information you can call Det. M. Stroud at 318-41-6502 or CRIMESTOPPERS at 318-443-STOP (7867), you may remain anonymous and you may be eligible for a reward of up to $2500.

The male is suspected of committing four robberies between January 9, 2016 and January 14, 2016.

The locations, dates and times of the robberies are: 

1) Dollar General,1600 block of Bringhurst on January 9, 2016 at 6 p.m.

2) Mardis Gras Bingo Hall, 700 block of Bolton Ave on January 11, 2016 around 7 p.m.

3) Tower Loan in the 3200 block of Monroe St. on January 14, 2016 at approximately 5 p.m.

4) Roadway Inn, 6000 block of Old Boyce Rd. on January 14, 2016 at 6 p.m.

The male is described as slim build, black male with light-medium complexion, wearing a grey hoodie, dark mask over his face, believed to be armed with a handgun.

Again, earn your money by calling in the tip that results in the capture of this suspect by calling Det. M. Stroud at 318-41-6502 or CRIMESTOPPERS at 318-443-STOP (7867), you may remain anonymous and you may be eligible for a reward of up to $2500.
