APD makes arrest in home improvement fraud case

On the afternoon of October 23, 2015 – Alexandria Police began investigating a report of contractor fraud. The complainant/victim reported he obtained and paid a contractor to remodel a residence he owned in the 1100 Block of Greenbriar.

The victim stated upon checking on the residence at a later date, the work was not complete. The victim further stated some appliances were missing and he was no longer able to contact the contractor. The report was assigned to the A.P.D. Detective Division.

During the investigation, detectives were able to find sufficient probable cause to have a warrant issued for the arrest of Donald Ray Juge, who was taken into custody without incident on October 7, 2015.

Donald Ray Juge, 49 of Alexandria was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center for:

1 Count – Home Improvement Fraud.
