APD arrests three in burglary case

APD Detectives have arrested three individuals responsible for several burglaries in the West Alexandria area. The investigation began in June of 2015 following a reported burglary of a residence in the 1800 Block of Hill Street. Other burglaries were reported in the 3200 Block of Marye and in the 1800 Block of Elliott. Electronic items, garden and power tools were taken.

Detectives were able to identify the following individuals who were arrested and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.

Darcus Hayes, 33 of Alexandria, has been charged with:

1 Count – Simple Burglary of Inhabited Dwelling
1 Count – Illegal Possession of Stolen Things

Micah Brevelle, 24 of Alexandria, has been charged with:

3 Counts – Simple Burglary of Inhabited Dwelling

Jarred Roy, 27 of Alexandria, has been charged with:

1 Count – Simple Burglary of Inhabited Dwelling
