Be a good neighbor – encourage family, friends & neighbors to pick up packages as soon as possible as after they are delivered.
Volunteer to pick up or receive each others packages – as needed.
Check to see if your carrier offers “text alerts.”
Have packages delivered to your place of work or to a home where you know someone will be there to receive it.
Request signature only deliveries when appropriate.
Track your packages and try to be present at the time of delivery. Many carriers allow you to track your shipment online:
