Urban Meyer to visit Robinson Museum as part of ‘Legacy Keepers’ series

Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin is inviting the public to attend the inaugural event of “Legacy Keepers: Preserving the Eddie Robinson Playbook” on Thursday, March 21 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center on the campus of Grambling State University.

Former Ohio State University head football coach Urban Meyer will serve as the event’s keynote speaker continuing the celebration of Coach Eddie G. Robinson’s 100th birthday. Admission for the event is free, and doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Prior to the event, there will be a VIP reception at 5:00 p.m. at the Eddie G. Robinson Museum. A limited number of tickets are available at https://tinyurl.com/eddierobinson100. The VIP reception package includes a meet and greet with Coach Meyer; hors d’oeuvres by Copelands of New Orleans; and special VIP seating at the Legacy Keepers program.

The Eddie G. Robinson Museum is a landmark that officially recognizes the outstanding contributions to the State of Louisiana, the nation and the game of football by Coach Robinson. The Eddie G. Robinson Museum is located on the campus of Grambling State University where Coach Robinson achieved legendary status by becoming NCAA Division I football’s all-time winningest coach.
